For "Destino" Didier wrote more than thirty songs. "I sat down and picked amongst the songs which I considered represented more my style and which I believe will leave an imprint in my career". This magnificent production that was recorded in Miami, counts with 11 songs, in which Didier is the writer of 7. Latin Pop and Ballads form part of this great album, however the carribean flavor could not be left out, "I felt an obligation in this first album for my fans to identify me and recognize my unique sound".

Didier Hernández is more than just a familiar face, he is a voice that for almost a decade, caused screams from endless numbers of fans that would get together and follow the world reknowed group "Menudo". Didier, of Cuban descent formed part of this group for almost 10 years which later transformed into MDO. Didier now breaks into the market with his first solo album "Destino" an album full of Romanticism, combined with Pop and Tropical songs.



His life has definitely been Music, since a very early age, he knew this was his "Destiny". Didier arrived in Miami when he was just 11 years old and at 14 was when he began with the legendary group Menudo, which later in 1997 was redefined as MDO. "What type of artist am I", "Singer/Songwriter", responds the magnetic singer of himself.



His songwriter skills developed over a period of time and while in MDO, two of his songs were included in their second album "Un Poco Mas", and three of his songs were included in the following one. Among his biggest accomplishments as a songwriter, one of the highlights has been the song "Llegar a ti", interpreted by the very well known Jaci Velasquez.
