The Pop influences that inspired Ennio Morricone's 'Spaghetti' Western guitar sound!
Dick Dale, "King of the Surf Guitar", forges new paths with the quintessential Western song. Quinten Tarantino used Dale's "Miserlou" in his PULP FICTION because it reminded him of Morricone's western music. In truth, it was the reverse; Duane Eddy, John Barry (with Vic Flick), and Dick Dale paved the path that Ennio would then turn into an empire.
