From her early beginnings, Diane Gordon was brought up in a family surrounded by music. Born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan with her 10 brothers and sisters, music was a family pastime. Her father was a man of many talents, his vocal ability was often compared to the Legendary singer BB King. Diane recalls, "My father sang, played piano, lead guitar and the harmonica all at the same time, which earned him the nickname 'one man band'."



By the time Diane was 5 years old, she and her siblings sang the gospel with their father. Diane would eventually go on to sing in her local choir at Hope Well Baptist Church.



Diane states, "I remember at the age of 10, that I felt a deep admiration for the fame and success that the Jackson 5 had acheived for themselves. It inspired me to follow my own dreams of moving out to LA in order to pursue a singing career. I spent most of my summers in my bedroom, singing and rehearsing in front of a mirror and fantasizing about the day I would arrive in Los Angeles, California."



Diane's talent, charisma and personality would lead her to become the lead vocalist for the trio Girl Group, A.S.A.P. (As Soon As Possible), which was discovered by Nippon Columbia Records. They were the only American Girl Group to become a success in Japan by being recognized singing Japanese cover songs in their own unique manner and style.



The group's 1st album, "Graduation" would take off and immediately sky rocket it's way to "GOLD" on the Japanese record charts. It would also become a top ten favorite amongst the many radio station playlists, as well as become a big requested hit to be played in many night clubs.



Diane's 2nd LP with the group, "Boyfriends Girlfriends", would achieve the same amount of success and become GOLD as well by quickly climbing the record charts.



Diane is also a talented songwriter who has collaborated with Producers Aaron Zigman and Jeff Lorber, on three of A.S.A.P.'s albums. She garnered co-writing credits for the hit tunes "Give In To Me", "All For You" and "More Love".



The successful Trio Group sold more than 4 million albums and performed on their own variety late night show, along with many successful recording artists throughout Japan.



With the success of A.S.A.P. under her belt, Diane was able to create many more opportunities for herself in the music industry.



Diane is currently singing back-up for the amazing talented, Wayne Brady's Variety Show, "Makin It Up" in Las Vegas and has recently performed with Wayne at Carnegie Hall,"The Pops" in New York City.



Diane's talent and abilities would lead her to travel on tours singing back up for Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson,Justin Gaurini, Res, Shanice Wilson, Coko, Jamie Jones,Novel, Nick Lachey, Ollie Woodson, Peobo Bryson,Bobby Lyle,Ali Woodson and a number of guest appearances with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelik and Nu-Phound Nation. In addition, she has performed on various television shows with Celine Dion, Cher, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Eric Benet, Novel, Rome and Jeffery Osborne.

She also performed on the talent television show Star Search 94 and was a winner to her 1st challenger.

Diane has performed lead and background vocals for corporate casuals events and shows,lounge in Tokyo,Kyoto Japan, Singapore, Thialand, Hawaii and various shows in other States.

Diane has recorded vocals on projects for composer Diane Warren and has also recorded vocals which have been featured on albums for various recording artists such as Wayne Bradys' Debute CD "A Long Time Coming", Printz Board and Tim Izo Orindgreff "Airpushers" CD, Neil Young, Marcus Miller, the late Roger Troutman, Dr. Dre& Knoc Turn'al (Movie "The Wash" soundtrack), Mark Wahlberg,Coolio, Kid Frost, Jamie Jones, James Taylor and Rick Springfield.



Diane's goals for the future includes recording vocals for television and film projects. Diane Vocals was featured as the signature vocals, TV commercial jingle "Bacardi & Cola" (They Get The Job Done) and recorded songs for characters, "Sasha and "Chloe" for The Bratz Cartoon Series. She has also recorded vocal cues for motion picture movies, "Walk Hard", "Deck The Halls","American Pie 5", "She's the Man", "Head of State", "Austin Powers 3: Gold Member", "Three to Tango", "Love & Action in Chicago""Foolish Games.



Diane's lead vocals were featured in the movies "Miss Congeniality 2", "Scary Movie 3", and "Babe 2". She has also performed numerous vocal cues for the television series "Malcolm in the Middle", "Angel", S.O.F. "Survivor", "Fear Factor", "Bill Nye, the Science Guy", "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Dangerous Minds". Diane was cast for on camera choir performances for TV shows/series, Glee, American Idol and Boston Public and was castes a featured vocalist in the movie, "The Sweetest Thing".



Diane may have started her journey as a young girl with a dream, but her talent and charisma have enabled her to acheive her goals with much success and promise. Diane is a shining example of what can be attained through drive and hard work. Her rise to success is truly inspiring.
