BIOGRAPHY
Dialogue is a straight forward, in your face groove rock band from the Netherlands.
Dialogue combines great musicianship with the ability to write electrifying songs and
has grown musically to create a unique joined sound that thrashes genres.
Founded in 1996, the band split up four years later. Talie Wijlens (guitar vocals) and
Jerry de Mars (bass) never stopped playing and after working with several drummers
Dialogue completed their line-up again a year later with beat-master Jeffrey Holthaus
on drums. At this point Dialogue was really born. The studio was the next step.
Dialogue recorded the EP titled True North in the summer of 2001. This EP contains five
strong songs among which Ululation and What about us?. A year later the next Ep
Jitterbug was recorded with songs like Progression, Drunk at 10 AM and Purple past
tense. The last mentioned song placed Dialogue in the monthly finals of the Dutch
national radio station 3FM, the song also got airplay on KinkFM. These recorded songs
review their music ability, yet the live performance is where Dialogue really rocks.
Dynamic, hot-headed and powerful, Dialogue live is something to experience, they are
catapulting groove rock to the next level!
At this point the band has recorded their first full length album L.A. Mode, with the
American producer Mher by their side. The album is mixed in Los Angeles USA. And is
released in the early summer with a grand album release party in de Melkweg Amsterdam.
Dialogue is an unsigned independent band. Ready to rock!
