Diabolical Slaughter

Diabolical Slaughter is a Brutal Death Metal band from San Diego, California. DS started out around 2005 and has gone through line-up changes since then but we are here and still killing, and we have hit a few bumps along the way, but thats what makes the band stronger. We are here to get our name out and play what we love to play and that is heavy, fast, sick fucking Death Metal. The local scene has treated us well, and has shown their support and we have wait to see how many DS fans there are out there in the world.



Since 2008 when original guitarist Chris Long left, after our first big venue show, we picked up local metal head and guitarist by the name of Matt Johnson in January 2008. We had wrote about 6 songs then we played a lot of shows in the San Diego scene to get our name back out there and let everyone hear and see the new Diabolical Slaughter with Matt on guitar now. Few months went on and vocalist Ian Dunford went through some bad times and the band called a quits in January 2009. Diabolical Slaughter reactivated in June of 2009, after Matt had re-contacted everyone in the band. Diabolical Slaughter is currently writing brand new Material with a full new line-up after a year Hiatus.
