Dezzy B

Britney Desyrée Rivera (born October 18, 1990), often referred to as Dezzy (pronounced as Desi), Dezzy B, or Boss Lady .She is an American R&B/ Hip Hop singer, songwriter, and dancer. Dezzy B has resided in Charlotte, NC for the last 11 years and now acknowledges this as her home town. At an early age she found herself writing poetry as a hobby, as well as finding a love for dancing and music. She is a graduate of Northwest School of the Arts in Charlotte, NC. This was the performing art school that she attended for 6 years where she put her talents to work. While majoring in dance (Modern, Jazz, and Ballet) at Northwest School of the Arts, she never gave up her passion for singing and writing music. Dezzy B became very serious about writing and recording music at age 14. Her first taste of being in a studio took place at this time. Dezzy B is influenced by Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Debra Cox, Alicia Keys, Maxwell, and Aaliyah. These idles have inspired her to pursue a music career.
