DVTN. was born in late 2005 from the underground scene of Vicenza (IT), immediately starting to write their very first songs. That lead them to the recording sessions of the 1st EP in the beginning of 2006 at HATE STUDIO and to play live all over Italy.
In 2007 they played their first concerts in Germany and then France as opening act for french band "Pleymo". After that, they went back to the HATE STUDIO to record the 1st full-lenght album "SWEET PARTY", mixed at THE AIRPORT STUDIO in L.A. by shaun lopez (deftones, far, will haven,.).
After signing with "BAGANA RECORDS", the album has been released in 2009 with EDEL distribution and promoted also with the video for the "paper boy" song, which rotated on several national TVs such as "ALL MUSIC" and "ROCK TV" and web channels. In the same period they also became ESP guitars endorsers.
In 2010 they've been selected to join the soundtrack of the "ALL POINTS BULLETIN" videogame (REALTIME WORLDS/EA GAMES) and started recording the second album "VENUS", produced and mixed by Maurizio Baggio (HATE STUDIO) and mastered at "WEST WEST SIDE STUDIO in NY by Alan Douches (mastodon, the dillinger escape plan, snapcase, sepultura, etc.).
