Formed in late 2005 out of Syracuse N.Y. , The powerhouse known as Assassin began its journey. In the beginning, an idea inspired by two friends with an aspiration to form a group out of uncompromising creativity and anger has now come out of its shell and into the heavy metal landscape full bore and ready to kill. With an all star lineup of Syracuse musicians in its fold, Assassin is prepared to move ahead and forge its own path in 2006 and beyond, destroying everything and everyone in its path. The groups first demo was recorded in January 2006. Assassins lineup has been chosen wisely out of the most serious and weathered musicians in Syracuse that feature music gurus such as : Dan Johnson of the legendary Godbelow, Steve Caiello of The Last Season, Eric"The Mook" Bukowski of More Sound recording studio and formerly of Word as a Virus, Matt Calabrese of Excoriation and Nicholas Donatelli of A Murder of Crows. All cornerstones of the Syracuse music scene. With all of the pieces in place Assassin is ready to step up into the major leagues and make their visceral presence known. With Assassin ,the danger is real ,uncompromising and never-ending.
