In September 2005 Deviance was formed by Danny and Edwin. However, it wasn’t until May 2006 that the line-up was complete.



The music of Deviance can be described as melodic deathmetal. It’s a mixture of crushing riffs combined with melodies and solos.



After the first show in Bibelot, Deviance played several gigs in a short period and gained a lot of positive reactions.



Early 2007 saw the birth of their first demo-cd, titled ‘Visions Of Sorrow’. It’s available at their shows or through their site.



In February 2007 Deviance was the opener on the Bastille Metalfest, where they played alongside bands like Born from Pain and Engine of Pain.



Deviance is working hard to establish their name in the Dutch metal scene. Their goal is to play as much as possible and further improve themselves and their music.

So far this has resulted in a lot of great shows with renowned acts as Ensiferum and Korpiklaani in 013 Tilburg, and Dutch bands Detonation and Mythlorian
