Burning Red Sun is an original rock band from Central New Jersey. It features founding members Ken Lazorchak, Mike Gomez and Jim Russo.
Ken Lazorchak - Ken is no stranger to the NJ rock scene. He previously played in renowned bands such as Laughen Bones and The Lost Highway Ramblers. Ken was mentored by the great blues legend Roy Buchanan. His love of rock is eclectic and his music shows it. Influences of The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, and Queens of the Stone Age, as well as many other greats can be heard in many of his songs.
Mike Gomez – Hailing from Detroit, Mike is a newcomer to NJ, but not to the music scene. He is best known as the former bass player for Concrete Pillow, a well known Detroit blues band. Influences of Led Zeppelin, Rush, the Beatles, and Kiss can be heard in his music.
Jim Russo – Jim has been involved with the NY/NJ club circuit for close to 15 years, working with at least 10 different bands. Jim's main influence on the drums is John Bonham but bit of everything from alternative, to folk, to classic rock can be heard in his drumming style.



Burning Red Sun's debut album Living on the Edge of Time has received critical acclaim. They have recently been signed with JMD Records/InGrooves/Universal Music Group and can be seen at many NY/NJ/PA clubs and events.
