These men of renown and heroes of old were the giants that were literally roaming the earth in those days polluting the bloodline of mankind and eating humans and setting up false worship of them and their fallen angel fathers. Their main goal is the same as their chief lucifer who has always spread the same repackaged lie as he did in the garden. The idea that man can become god or redeem himself by looking within and evolving into a god through some sort of works.
