Desert Eagle Sound

Desert Eagle Sound was officially formed on February 6th,2003 in Ft Lauderdale,FL by Dj Aztec and Dj Wez who met in college and decided to form a sound weeks before their very first dance at the University of Miami alongside Willy Chin from Black Chiney and Selecta Renegade one of Miami's top Dj's. They have been off to a fairly good start making promo mix Cd's for various events around the Ft Lauderdale and Miami areas. It was from then that a few promoters started giving them spots at a few all inclusive events helping the sound get exposure to the South Florida crowd. The sound displayed a level of musical knowledge gained from the experiences each selector carried from their previous sounds. Aztec had carried most of the experience he gained while playing on his first sound back in Bermuda called DeathMark, and then had left the sound in the summer of 1999 to join and help jumpstart one of Bermuda's top jugging sounds OutKas Movementz. Dj Wez brought a vital level of experience in remixing and CD production which he gained while playing on his own sound system based in Kingston.JA called Cyanide Sound. Since then Desert Eagle had faced many difficult obsticles in getting a firm grounding in a highly competitive market of sound systems based in the Ft Lauderdale area. It was then that they both went home to their respective countries for the breaks off school and used the money they earned over the break to voice their first set of foreign dubs which consisted of Kid Kurupt,Elephant Man, and Merciless. Since then they slowly started voicing more artists and getting a decent amount of recognition within th Ft Lauderdale area and have had the honor of playing alongside sounds such as Swatch Int,Black Chiney,Poison Dart,Chinese Assasins, and various other sounds all over the Ft Lauderdale and Miami areas. It was in March of 2004 that Dj Scarface a longtime good friend of Aztec and formerly of the DreamTeam was asked to join the sound and has been a valuble asset to the sound ever since. Desert Eagle has been in various dances both in Bermuda and Florida and have even played in Cayman Islands and Halifax too. They had started voicing many dub specials thoughout their careers in the business have also been in a few soundclashes including their first high-caliber clash in Ft Lauderdale in October of 2005 in which they locked horns with Jah Cuban(MIA) and Sound Trooper(JA) which gave them a feel for sound warfare and pitted them against OGS Genesis and Stalwart in December of 2005 in which they gained more experience in the clash field. Desert Eagle has put out a few series of mix CD's and are proud to be representing Bermuda on an international level. Desert Eagle sound has extended the sound family with the addition of Scorch and Mike Tyson two seasoned veterans in the sound business who are going to be an instrumental factor in making Desert Eagle Sound a force to be reckoned with. Desert Eagle has extended the family to Sheffield, England making the sound spread out globally. Desert Eagle Int. Sound is a very versitile sound system playing a healthy selection of classic Disco,R&B,and Reggae and the latest selections of exclusive and mainstream Dancehall,Remixes, Hiphop, R&B, Soca, and Reggaeton unifying everyone under one musical entity.They are still on the climb to be one of Bermuda's top sound systems and with the addition of the already seasoned UK based sound system they are definately gonna be one of the sounds to keep a close eye out for in the years to come.
