DESCARGA

[.DESCARGA.] : which loosely translated means the unloading of knowledge and information via the medium of music entertainment: is a five-piece Chicago rock band formed in 1999. The band's extensive musical performances have garnered them a national following, as well as continuous media coverage. Their performances have included events such as MOBfest, Fiesta Del Sol and Jaguarton (Ciudad Juarez, Mexico) as well as showcases at some of Chicago's most popular venues such as Metro, Double Door and Old Town School of Folk Music.



Recorded releases include: 2001 EP [.Rock_En_Tu_Lengua.], MOBfest 2002 Showcase Album, BOOM Magazine 2005 Compilation, 2006 CD - Unplugged at Old Town School of Folk Music, 2008 EP [.DESCARGA.] (Blue Door Records). The band is currently recording for a 2011 EP Release.
