Dennis Mejdal - Bye Bye Love - Live @ TV2: Brunch (DK)



The 28th of January 2008 marks the release of Dennis Mejdal’s debut album “Grow Little Acorn, Grow!”, out on the indie label Artscope Music.



After nearly 3 years of hosting and playing Copenhagen’s music venue no. 1; VEGA and its acoustic club Klub Mini VEGA. And playing support jobs for sold out show with acts like Midlake, Claus Hempler, Grand Avenue and Henrik Hall, it is now time to hear what Dennis sounds like when he is led by producers Kenneth Andersen and René Cambony.



What started out as a back to basics and a fairly acoustic sounding record, turned into something more electric sounding – almost folktronic.



Among the guests musicians playing on the album is former guitarist of the Norwegian band ‘Low Frequency in Stereo’ Per Hansen. Percussionist Jacob Andersen and singer Amalie Riis also make their impact on the album.
