DEFORM

The Moscow band DEFORM began its existence in September, 2003.

The musical style of DEFORM is a conceptual gothic-industrial rock. The dominant of the band’s work is its ideological component, which was given the name of "Dead Romanticism". It also determines the themes of DEFORMs songs which are full of gloomy-romantic philosophical thoughts about our world, that reminds of the HELL in a way. DEFORM can be associated with the bands, calling their style "Shock-rock": their visual performance is a vanguard staging which reflects the philosophical concept of DEFORM.

Performing in Moscow clubs, DEFORM has quickly drawn attention to itself - and it’s not surprising. Beginning its way on a so-called "alternative" stage, the band differed a lot from the other bands not only by the appearance, but also by its music. This "dissimilarity" has divided the audience on those who loved DEFORM and those who hated it.
