OuTakers



The crew that has come barking out of the Dagenham and have grabbed grime gruffly by the collar are the O.T Crew. They’ve reached a high state of kudos in the grime scene, stealing top spots at Events, spilling onto radio stations such as Rinse and Kiss FM, releasing 4 well-selling, sought-after mixtapes and they currently harbor some of the biggest talent the scene has to offer, meet the OuTakers…



At the front of the pecking order is Dogzilla, one of the biggest characters and biggest bar-spitters in the scene. His fast pace and quick wit leaves other MCs trailing behind. Dogzy began the O.T. recording label back in 2005 with Mikee (Da Manager).



Away from the spitters, hot servings of beats are supplied courtesy of Shotz. The distinctive grime producer has made an impressive break into the scene; his first mixtape release Shot City featured the full OT family plus Wiley, Syer Bars, Dollar Da Dustman and Beezy and DJ Glamma’s Monday night show on Rinse FM has become a guide to grime DJs everywhere, playing the best chunks of underground he can get his hands on.



O.T Recordings has had four releases to date including the continually popular Broad Street Stories mixtape and Devlin's much anticipated first solo release Tales from the Crypt.



Next the OuTakers are planning the release of producer Ratchet's Mixtape, More vinly from Shotz, Deverlish and the rest of O.T R, much more from Dogzilla and Devlin on cd and vinly, Videos, Volume 3 of The London Borough Of Barking & Dogenham mixtape series plus mixtape releases from members of The Dogenham Alliance.
