Who is Dedset?



Driving-In The Pocket-Melodic-Heavy.



That about sums up the sound of one of the top Local bands in the Atlanta area. Driven by the ambition that one day their music will reach the masses, Dedset have been playing shows as far back as 2005. Throughout those years they have developed a very loyal following in the metro Atlanta area. Some of their accomplishments far exceeded their expectations. In 2008 they secured a spot on the Licks-N-Sticks concert opening for legends such as Marshall Tucker Band, Georgia Satellites, and Atlanta Rhythm Section. In late 2008 Dedset won 1st place in the 7th annual Sweetwater Showdown against some of the greatest bands in the Southeast and in early 2009 released their self titled debut album with producer Bruce Bennett (Edwin McCain, Sugarland, Scott Wieland). After a highly successful Cd Release in Marietta Ga they soon were hand picked to play on 2009 Van’s Warped Tour alongside acts such as 3OH!3, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Aiden, In This Moment, Anti-Flag, Less Than Jake, Underoath, Devil Wears Prada and countless others. Dedset have also shared the stage with some of Atlanta’s top local acts including Branded With Fear, Greedy White Citizens, UberStout, and Quench just to name a few. It doesn’t look as if Dedset are slowing down anytime soon so if you get a chance to catch a live show don’t miss it.
