DEDLOCK was formed in the summer of 2002 in the downtown area of Elgin Illinois. With the first line up in place of Jason, Kilgore, Andy, Joel DEDLOCK began writing songs that would become our own forceful style of metal. We draw influences from a long list of metal, rock and many bands that defy category. Our purpose is to write music that makes people remember what they liked about music in the first place. We are not going to give ourselves any unnecessary adjectives. Our music is our own and we hope you like it.
