2007 was a great year for Decora seeing the band play their 250th show, get a debut release on itunes, an interview from the BBC and share the stage with heroes, Reuben. Two tours of the UK , three gigs in one day and shows at In The City and Sound Festival kept the boys plenty busy.

An opportunity to record at Rak studios afforded the band an awesome start to the new year, working with Helen Atkinson, protege to heavy weight producer Adrian Bushby (engineered the latest FooFighters Album - Echoes, Silence Patience and Grace) with Adrian on hand to oversee proceedings. Rak was the sudio in which Radiohead recorded the bends and more recently, the Arctic Monkeys made a flying visit to record a live take for the video of Teddy Picker.

Decora are currently locked down in a garage preparing material for a debut album.

100% self financed and organised, their strong DIY work ethic has seen them travel the length and breadth of the country taking in venues such as Camden’s Dublin Castle, The Hoxton Square Bar and Grill in Shoreditch, The Fleece and Louisina in Bristol, Moles Club in Bath, Redruth’s Green Rooms, Josephs Well in Leeds, The Waterfront in Norwich, The Bullingdon Arms in Oxford, The Jailhouse in Coventry and The Phoenix in Plymouth and share stages with the likes of Reuben, Zico Chain, The Ghost of a Thousand, Kill Kenada, Br:gade, Enjoy Destroy and Exit Ten.

Receiving radio play from BBC Wiltshire and underground music stalwarts such Total Rock and Pulse Unsigned, along with airings from as far a field as the Serbian alternative radio station Breaking the Silence, Decora have recently topped the charts of cult web-zine Subba-Cultcha.

Top photographer Alyson Blanchard recently worked with the band and has snapped the likes of, amongst others, Liam Gallagher, Kasabian, and Green Day.

Press for the EP: "its hard not to be drawn in to ingeniously constructed cuts like Louise, So Long Farewell and I Will. Given a top flight producer theres nothing to stop this lot taking on the likes of Funeral For A Friend and coming out on top". - Johnny Black, Mojo, Q.

"If the band don't get a major deal on the back of this then there's really something wrong woth the world today" - Jeremy Chick, Subba Cultcha Webzine

Muchos Gracias to the folks and Strings and Things for putting us in the way of all this good shit.
