Michael Alvarez has won Best Acoustic Guitarist in the San Antonio Guitar Wars in '95 AND '97 as well as Best Electric Guitarist, as well as various awards as a chef. He has been signed with popular local artists , recording several well selling punk albums, produced 2 Cd's and has toured professionally. Robert started playing drums at age 11, and leaned toward the progressive/fusion genres. He has been in many local bands growing up in New Orleans, but most notably Blood Red Velvet. BRV released 3 CD's through indie label Delvian Records on which he played drums, did musical arrangements and co-produced. Relocating to San Antonio after Katrina, he released his 4th CD with local band Fortyweight in 2008. Robert has also toured as a musician/drum tech/lighting director with Michael Jackson, Rush, Lou Rawls, B.B.King, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Bo Diddely, Paula
Abdul, Dr. John The Neville Brothers among others.
