De-Sean B. LeRoy

DBL is an Alternative/Pop duo from Sacramento, California consisting of brothers Sean and Tyler Perkins. Driven by their innate ability to harmonize, they taught themselves guitar, drums, bass and piano, producing and recording their music from a home studio.

The journey began in their teens when they opened for the famed "Fifth Beatle", Pete Best. Years later, Sean was a top 30 finalist of the American Idol: Season 8 auditions in San Francisco. The experience inspired the brothers to culminate their personal creativity by crafting their demos into chart-topping hits. They experimented with local and multicultural artists from countries including: Japan, Scotland and the United Kingdom. Within only months, local radio station KWOD 106.5 warranted them primetime air play for three months straight. Their hardwork was highly esteemed when DBL received coverage on Sac & Co News 10 for their nomination of Best Local Alternative act.
