Qui je suis ?



Je suis venu tout à fait par hasard à la musique. Au début, pour sortir de ma timidité, puis très vite par nécessité.



Je suis auteur-compositeur-interprète Chanteur et Bassiste.



Ce qui se dit de mon jeu ? J’ai lu ca dans un article :

« Quelques notes s'égrènent et nous voilà dans un autre monde, dans un monde parallèle. Musique d'ambiance, dira-t-on. Ça l'est en effet et Dayon le revendique haut et fort. Créer une atmosphère le temps d'un morceau n'a pour lui rien de négatif, tout au contraire. Ainsi fait-il naître en nous des visions quasi cinématographiques. Très mélodique, son répertoire ouvre grandes les portes de l'imaginaire. À univers imaginaire, langue imaginaire aussi. Dayon chante en anglais, en français, mais a aussi en "Citénof", sabir qu'il a créé de toutes pièces. Ses paroles ont quelque chose d'universel, les mots habillent la musique, ils se font discrets, seule compte l'émotion.



A la basse et au chant, Dayon charme, envoûte, de sa voix apaisante et aérienne, dont le timbre rappelle furieusement Sting – un modèle de chant pour lui. Les sonorités musicales se croisent et cela donne un univers métissé au plus haut degré. Ce métissage, ce mélange, ce contraste, Dayon le doit au hasard des rencontres, tant et si bien qu'au fil des années et des collaborations, il a intériorisé tous les styles à portée d'oreille.



De la Pop au Jazz en passant par la Jungle, le blues, la musique latine ou Africaine, pour lui tout est bon à prendre. Une fois qu'il a les bases, il peut faire naître ses propres variations. Posée sur des rythmiques atypiques, des harmonies profondes, la voix de Dayon invite donc à l'évasion, à l'émotion. Inventifs et intimistes, intenses et planants, il y a dans le travail de Dayon beaucoup de chaleur et de générosité, d'histoires, de méditations qui se dessinent et s'imposent. L'homme aime partager et cela s'entend dans sa musique.



Invitation au voyage, au vagabondage intérieur, Dayon nous embarque dans l'imaginaire d'un homme ordinaire. Who I am ?



I came completely by chance to the music. At the beginning, to leave my timidity, then very quickly by need.

I’m a musician who composes my music and sings it.
