Dawn has been described as one of the most charismatic female vocalists to hit the New York area in years. In the late-1990's, Dawn's powerful and passionate voice was often heard at New York's most sacred haunts such as The Bitter End, Village Underground, Elbow Room, The Baggot Inn, Le Bar Bat and Don't Tell Mama's.

For three years, she fronted her first original band, Sugarlily, which gained recognition as a club circuit favorite and appeared on several TV shows including Jersey's Talking with Lee Leonard. As a respected Jersey vocalist, Dawn was honored to sing the National Anthem for the Newark Bears baseball team as well as at a tribute to September 11th in Hoboken, New Jersey.

In 2003, Dawn broke out on her own as a solo artist and has recorded songs for IMG Publishing, including "Scared," produced by Dan Harnett, who has worked with Faith Hill and Jennifer Lopez among other notable artists.

Dawns accomplishments to date include being named "Suggested Artist" in the VH1 Save the Music Contest (2005); performing live in Times Square for a promotion of Raise Your Voice staring Hillary Duff (2004); placing 6th out of thousands of entries in Z-100s Radio Star Contest with airplay of Scared on Z-100 (2004); being named Best Singer / Songwriter of Greenwich Village in the Female Pop category (2003).

Dawn has performed with many well-known artists: Mike Gordon, Mark Egan, Brian Jackson, Victor Jones, George Coleman and spoken word artist Frank Messina & Octopoet.

With her new project, Dawn's voice has been catapulted to new heights. The band features a stellar line-up of jazz musicians, dishing out Dawn's original tunes as well as the likes of Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Merchant and Etta James.

Her sound is soulful, upbeat and very sexy.
