Dawan Hopson AKA Kentucky Boy is a 30 year old man who grew up in the mean streets of Hopskinsville Kentucky. He started rapping and free styling at the age of 10. Although he never graduated from high school, he has always dreamed of becoming a rap superstar. Thoughtout Dawan's life, he has sold drugs, been in and out of jail, and has even been shot. You would assume that he's the typical rapper! But Mr. Hopson is a changed man. He is a very talented musical artist who now tours with the multiplatium rap group out of Kentucky known as Nappy Roots. When asked how do he feel about touring, Dawan stated "I love to perform on stage because its like an addiction." "I have always wanted to travel the world and I feel like its my turn to shine and represent Kentucky my way." Dawan Hopson AKA Kentucky Boy is not only the total package in the hip-hop industry but he creates fans based on his stuggle, dedication, and hot creative style.
