On Nov. 12, 2016 my old pal Dave Fiuczynski rolled through Asbury Park, NJ with his Middle Eastern-Asian trio project KiF featuring two stellar students of his from Berklee. He hit me up to come and sit in 9 - w00t! So, I brushed up on my KiF catalog that day, packed some charts and music stand and rocked with them for half the set. The tune in the video is called "Shiraz" and features some a pretty freakin' cool whammy bar technique in the A section followed by some bad-ass dNb grooves drenched in wholetone! That's the world of Fuze and I love being let in whenever I get the nod.
