It all started back in 1991, when I founded my first band, by the name of Noctifera in my hometown in Tuscany, playing rythm guitars and writing songs and lyrics, inspired by power metal heroes Manowar.

After the first demo tape was recorded, I found myself sitting on the drum throne replacing the drum guy who was unable to attend the live gigs; finding out that drumming was really more exciting than playing guitars, I decided to dedicate my career to drums.

Another demo was recorded in 1994, leading to a split of the band due to a contract offered by Italian Label Underground Symphony in 1995 that the other guys were unable to accept.

In 1995 I joined forces with guitar player Emil Bandera to create Power-Glam band Smelly Boggs, the band saw international coverage with the single "Sexy Telephone" in 1998, featured in "The Pink And The Black" compilation from US label Delinquent Records, and published their first self-titled album in year 2000, with Italian label Self, being probably the first Italian Glam-Rock act to sign a deal with a national label.

In the meantime I worked with hard rockers H.A.R.E.M. recording another single for the international market, and relocating in Los Angeles in the following months for lessons.

Year 2001, I joined Italian Progressive-Thrashers Eldritch with whom I've recorded four albums, two reissues and several singles right now, reaching International coverage and a strong live career.

In 2006 I got the honour to be part of one of the most famous Italian bands of all time, Death SS, named by the name of the founder, Mr. Steve Sylvester. I was featured on their said to be farewell Album, "The Seventh Seal", and on several products out in the market during the past years.

I took 2008 for getting back on the rudiments, and in 2009 I'm back on the saddle again, ready for another decade of fun and drumming. ;)

My drumming is rock solid, being able to cover a broad range of musical styles, from the Techno Thrash odd-meters of Eldritch to the steady 4/4 of 80's Hard Rock. You can hear some of my specials listening to The Rain or Why, or just feel the groove of Der Golem to have an idea.

Up to now I've recorded and/or played with the followings:

Eldritch (Progressive Metal)

Death SS (Horror Metal)

Smelly Boggs (Glam Rock)

Inerdzia (Street Punk Rock)

Motus Tenebrae (Goth Rock)

H.A.R.E.M. (American Hard Rock)

Noctifera (Power Metal)

Secret Sphere (European Power Metal)

Bruno Teodori (Guitar Oriented Classic Metal)

Gf93 (Industrial Metal)

Rain ('80s Classic Metal)

The Maniacs (All Star Cover Band)

Stato Brado (Italian Pop Rock)

The Machine (Ratm Cover Band)

Evergaze Eternity (Goth Rock)

During the past ten years I've had the honour to play hundreds of live shows all over the world, the most significative of them being:

1999 - Beach Bum Festival Jesolo Lido, Italy (w/Gf93)

2001 - Gods Of Metal Palavobis, Milano, Italy (w/ Eldritch)

2006 - Evolution Festival Toscolano Maderno, Italy (w/ Death SS, day one, and Eldritch, day two)

2006 - Chicago Powerfest Chicago, IL (w/Eldritch)

2007 - Gods Of Metal Idroscalo di Milano, Italy (w/Eldritch)

2007 - Sweden Rock Festival Solvesborg, Sweden (w/Eldritch)

2008 - Italian Gods Of Metal Milano, Italy (w/Death SS)

2008 - Headbanger's Open Air Hamburg, Germany (w/Death SS)

During years 1999/2000 I started my "other job" career as drum/backline technician, since those days I've worked with major Italian pop and rock acts, nowadays when I'm not making music I enjoy helping other fellow musicians onstage with my proficiencies as drum/guitar tech.

I co-own and run a small project studio in Livorno, wich is where I live now, called SeederSound Recorders, this making me able to record my own drums in a relaxed environment and with no rushing at all.

My main kit is a Drums Workshop Collector's Series in Satin Oil Emerald Burst finish, all cymbals are Turkish AMEDIA Thrace and Galata series, handmade in Istanbul, Turkey. Pedals are DW 5000 series, hardware's from Gibraltar and I'm actually using Silverfox drumsticks, built in american hickory.
