The Dave Johnson Band has just released their debut album 'In the Arms of the Dark Tree Limbs' produced by Jody Dobson (Box 25 studios, NYC) and Dan Grigsby (Bruce Springsteen, Keith Richards, Joe Cocker) and recorded and mixed by Dan Grigsby. In the past year, they have performed at multiple showcases in New York City, including the legendary Bitter End, supported national recording artists such as King's X and Reeves Gabrels (of David Bowie's Tin Machine), received airplay on Hampton Road's FM 99 WNOR, interviewed & performed their single "Name in Lights" live on WVEC channel 13 news, and been a feature in the Virginian-Pilot newspaper. The DJB will start 2010 off with a handful of local performances and will be returning to the Ace of Clubs in New York City in February.
