Après sept ans ensemble au sein du groupe KARMA'SUTRA, Fabien (chant, piano) et Tass (guitares, claviers, machines) forment DARWIN BAY, un projet minimaliste tout en contrastes, quelque part entre chansons, rock et new wave.
Darwin Bay, ce sont des textes et une voix, une guitare, des boucles, des filtres. Ce sont aussi des cordes et un violon alto, fruit de la belle rencontre entre Fabien, Mathieu et Geoffrey Richardson (The Pinguin Café Orchestra, Caravan, Renaud, Murray Head…)
Darwin Bay aimerait autant être un point de chute qu’un point de départ, un ailleurs qui nous parlerait. d’ici.
« Pluies acides », le 1er album est sorti en 2007. Le second disque est actuellement en préparation, entre Paris et Canterburry.

After having played together for seven years in the hardcore band KARMA’SUTRA, Fabien (singer, piano) and Mathieu (guitars, keys, programming) formed DARWIN BAY, a minimalist project created using a contrast of melody, rock and new wave. The lyrical content woven between guitar, viola played by Geoffrey Richardson (The Pinguin Café Orchestra, Caravan, Renaud, Murray Head…) and electro sounds takes you on a journey from the beginning to the end and from the end to the beginning, speaking out and holding in .
« Pluies acides » (acid rains), the first album has been released in 2007. The second album is actually being recorded and composed in between Paris and Canterburry.
