DESCRIPTION:
Darrell Speck and the Rebel Rouser's began performing on WAIN-AM in Columbia, Kentucky in 1954, when Darrell was 16 years old. In 1955, the group moved over to the brand new WFLW-AM in Monticello, Kentucky. Darrell joined the Navy for a two-year stint beginning in 1956. The group reunited for this record, which was recorded in June of 1959 at Al Vic Studio at Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Side A of the record is Take Me Back. Both songs have appeared on various rockabilly compilation CD's and vinyl recordings in Germany, England, France and the Netherlands since 1981.
