Dark Aria began its evolution when Kris and Lorenzo quit their band they had formed together. Tony and John's group had disbanded as well, and the four quickly realized that through their combined musical talents, it was possible to create something unheard of. Lacking a bassist, original guitarist Kris switched to bass.



After the first of Dark Aria's shows, the band felt that there was something missing - they decided the addition of a lead guitarist would fill the void. After a short search, the band came to meet Andrew, and after a brief audition, Dark Aria was complete.



Due to personal reasons, the band parted ways with many members and changed line ups. After continuing the search for the right pieces to get the right style of music to bring a fresh sound to peoples ears they found Ivan (Drums) & Rudy (Bass) which completed the circle in which makes Dark Aria what it is today. Which a love for the metal of the past and a desire for the metal of the present there sound is blended together to create a sound for everyone to enjoy of all ages but now with a complete band of reliable musicians be ready to experience the music that is Dark Aria.



With a unique combination of hard-hitting melodies, seductful harmonies, powerful vocals, and a powerhouse rhythm section, Dark Aria has managed to create the new breed of Melodic Metal. As the band is working diligently on writing and rehearsing, keep on the lookout for upcoming shows and demo releases.



We would like to thank all the members which have inspired us in our point up until now the drummers as well as the bassists but now with new fresh members the plans are to make something new and powerful with a goal of self accomplishment to stand out above them all.



NOTE: Dark Aria would like to thank "Gothic" Shane for all of his selfless acts and all of the assistance he has provided the group. It has brought the band where they are and motivated them in countless ways.
