My real name is Gordon Humphrey, but music folks know me as H.U.M.P. I am a music producer from Virginia who is starting to do some pretty cool things. Have met a load of people in the music business recently and have made some life-long relationships that will live on long after I am done with doing music professionally (if that ever happens!)
I've been a DJ, an artist, a producer, a songwriter - you name it. MUSIC IS IN MY BLOOD! When I wake up - music is in my head. As I work - it is there. And it is especially there when I lay down to sleep.
A little about what inspires me - love. That is the fuel that feeds my art. I met someone a few years ago that showed me that love is more than can ever be put into words - or even music. But however futile it is to try to capture the full power of love in music, I still try. And sometimes I get close . but I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to find that perfect song that expresses how I feel about life and love and . her.
We all need something in our lives to help keep us human - something that allows us to be something more than we ever dreamed of becoming, something that gives us hope that tomorrow will be better than today - and the dream that love still exists. Love still exists. And music is my "something".
