DanFunk

Danilo Cirilli, AKA DanFunk, was born 1983 in Bari. Lover of all the music expressions since the early age, at 16 becomes PR for the most important dance clubs in South of Italy. In 2001 joins the staff of The Flame, an organization devoted to clubbing with a twist of culture and underground. After meeting and friendship many djs becomes a DJ himself and, starting 2004, becomes resident DJ of The Flame organazation staff, has the chance of working with the greatest names of international djing, fully expressing his idea of music and undergoround culture. The year after he performs in top clubs: Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos) and Underground (Ibiza), and is a regular at Fresh N' Fruit in Padova, with a sound which is Techno with influence of Minimal, Electro and House. Nowadays he lives in Milan, studying sound engineering at the SAE Institute, in order to specialize in production engineer. Meanwhile he works for 6TH STUDIO RECORDS and ANOMALINE RECORDS in Milan as Dj and music producer.

Most recent collaborations, include sets with artists such Mr. C, Craig Richards, Francis Harris, Terry Francis, Ivan Smagghe, Magda, Dan Ghenacia, Jennifer Cardini, Marco Carola, Danilo Vigorito, Mark Ashken, Matt Tolfrey, James Holden, Omid 16B, Andrea Ferlin, Quenum, David Duriez, Claudio Coccoluto, Guido Schneider, Troy Pierce and many others.

Top clubs include: Nautilus (Bari), New Demodé (Ba), Zenzero Club (Ba), Wasabi (Ba), Clorophilla (Taranto), Cromie (Ta), Guendalina (Lecce), Casablanca (Gallipoli), Codice a Barre (Mi), Gasoline (Mi), Amnesia (Mi), The Block (Padova), Underground (Ibiza), Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos), Club05 (Perugia), Isterika (Treviso), Underbridge (Napoli), Velvet Zone (Na).
