REAL PLAYAZ GO INTERNATIONAL. FAKE PLAYAZ STAY LOCAL
F.I.P. (First International Playaz)
3 playaz who took their game internationally startin' in the Far East in the land of the rising sun - JAPAN. The first album we dropped in Japan was Hip Hop Kakumei (revolution). We are the first group in Japan to really use explicit lyrics in Japanese and talk about sex and street life straight up. We are being labeled the realest street music in Japan.
Dope Daddy originally from LA, lived in San Antonio, Texas for 8 years. After bouncing around the country, he decided to go to Japan. He's been in and out of Japan for the last 14 years. He started an entertainment company, t.o.n.e, in 1998 handling licensing agreements, distribution, promotions, marketing, A&R Direction, and concert promotions for major labels and artists as well as indie labels and artists like Sony BMG, Avex Japan, Toshiba EMI, and artists like Ras Kass, TLC, Nice&Smooth, Public Announcement, and more. In 2004, he started an indie label t1 records and looked for real rappers with heart and street in their souls in Japan. More snakes and fakes in the Japan music industry than anywhere in the world. But as you know this economy over here is big, and the opportunities are endless for the patient few. We are the only well established American owned record label in Japan.
m.o. is the Dope Daddy's 21 year old prodigy born in Tokyo and moved to Portland, Oregon when he was 1 years old. He is half Japanese/White. Grownin' up a lot of prejudice was shown towards him for being half Japanese by white people. Only black people over looked that so that's who he hung with and developed a love for the streets and hip hop. At 15, he was kick out of school for dealing and his parents decided he should continue school in Japan, hoping that would keep him out of trouble. He didn't like Japanese kids his age because they seemed childish and livin' the good life. His first true friends in Japan were Yakuza in Osaka (Haiyasaki Kai Group). He hooked up with Dope Daddy when he was 17. m.o. shows heart all the time and delivers the best bilingual flow in’ Japan.
Max Imillian was born in Detroit. At the age of 15 he moved to LA where he did boxing, played football and basketball in high school. He also started rapping at 15. He was in a group called Universal Kings for 2 years. He moved to Las Vegas when he was 17 and at the age of 18 came to Osaka, Japan. Same as Dope Daddy, he learned Japanese on the streets and not the classroom. During his time here, he has been constantly hustlin' and grindin' to be successful. His ability to live anywhere and succeed makes him an international player. He spent 2 years away from the group and now returns to finish what he helped started. At 25, Max Imillian is ready to serve his bilingual flow to the streets of Japan and let it be felt across the globe.
