"Reformed" isn’t just the name of Dallas Parker’s up and coming R&B album it’s also a testament to his growth, and his understanding of what it is to finally become a man. Growth is measured between two points; usually the further apart the points the better off you are, at least on the spectrum of growth that is. Dallas’ first CD was point one, and his second album is point two, and that huge gap in-between is the Reform. To understand the Reform you must understand the artist first.

Dallas Parker is an entertainer, a performer, and a throw back. When he moves, he moves people. The conviction, the presence, and the total control over ever inch of his body is what separates him from other performers, and it doesn’t hurt that his smooth baritone voice makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand. To say that he is a good stage performer is an understatement that borders insult. Dallas parker is an exceptional performer.

I’m not going to mention that he started out singing in the church because that’s with all R&B singers, I am going to state that while his story may parallel in some regards, he is not those other R&B singers. With opening up for a ton of major artists, and stealing the show each and every time out, he did that by utilizing a sincere dedication to being better then his last outing; also, by showing effort and the basic understanding of the opportunity, and stage he was on all those given times.

Now to get to the general-purpose stuff: Dallas Parker is 22, he hails from Spokane WA, by way of Tacoma, WA. He’s a son, he’s a brother, he’s an uncle, he is a writer, and he is also a star. But not just a star, one that deserves all the chances that a star deserves to have. Dallas Parker has had his share of ups and downs, but is on course to do something tremendous, and from this point in his career you are going to have to just pay attention and see what that is.
