Dahmer

Everything started in 1995 with Seb (guit) and Yvan (drums). Then john joined the band on guit and seb switches on bass. With this line-up, we only played a couple of months. In June '95, due to the fact that John was working far and that we had to record for a split 7", we recorded 14 songs with seb on guit and yvan on drums. This recording got a poor sound and had no bass. Later, John came back and Fred join the band as a 2nd guitar player. With this line up we played only a couple of months also. Then john left the band and the line up is still the same



At the beginning, our stuff was more about Serial Killers and Mass murderers about things that pissed me off (Seb). To be honest, Ive never been into taking many hours to write the lyrics, they were all wrote in a really short period of time. Now Im writing about everything I want, everything I see that piss me off (not only serious things), Im talking about what we live instead of just getting too much into "politically correct" things.



All lyrix by Seb, all music by Dahmer except 2 songs (one by john(ex-guit) and another one by fool-face(We took their musik but we put our own lyrix ). We played many times in Québec and Montréal. Don't ask me with which bands we played as the list would be too long, and I'm not able to remember them all. I wrote about serial killers and mass murderers because I (seb) had a big interest in them (and still have) SK & MM are the only predators for the human race. So prepare to be the prey :-)



We took the name Dahmer for no specific reason, Jeffrey is well known so you know what to expect and at the beginning our songs were all, for the majority of them, dealing about serial killers and massmurderers.
