DaGoldenchild is no Stranger to the Harsh realities of Life! Born Jason Flatt A.K.A-Da Goldenchild, His trouble began upon his conception into the world. Son of a Vietnam vet , He was conceived half dead and and his whole body was a deep golden color due to a condition called Jaundice, This was the after effect of a chemical used on the soldiers in Vietnam called "Agent Orange" which was known to have adverse effects on the offspring of these soldiers. He was taken from his mother and placed into an oxygen bubble for a period of three weeks in which he battled, away from his family for his own life. He Grew up half of his life in the rough streets on the outskirts of Detroit and the other half of his life in Houston Texas. Laying claim to two home-towns in the mist of the Detroit "Battle-Rap"scene and the Houston underground rap scene. Accompanied with the rough realities of street life gave him a very diverse style of rap. Banned from the state of Michigan in 1995, he hit Houston battling his way through the ranks, winning some of the most prestigious Battle Competitions that Texas as well as Detroit had to offer, proving he is almost lyrically unmatched. His current project entitled "The Beginning Of The End" has been one of the most highly anticipated C.D.s in the Underground Rap scene in its entirety.Mixing a combination of Detroit style Battle Songs, Houston Club songs, And West Coast style reality rap he is guaranteed to be one of the most classic C.D.s on the market to date. He has recently come off One-Fry Short Radios "All Smoked Out Tour" which was a national tour traveling across 48 states featuring none other than Houston's latest spinning heavyweight Dj Big G, Dot Com and XL were also in attendance on this tour. He arrived back in Houston For a flurry of concerts including N.B.A. All-star Grand Finale concert "The Big Ball", Club Riddoms, Toc Bar-Downtown Houston , The Perfect Rack featuring P.K.T. , The Pointe, The Lifestyle Car-show feat. Lil Keke and Bubba Sparxx at Gulf Greyhound Park and many more. He has now Started making guest appearances as Celebrity Judge at The Miss Hawaiian Tropic Finals and is Hosting the Miss Petite Texas ,Miss Teen Texas pageants with Super Model and Miss Hawaiian tropic Suzy-q. His "Beginning Of The End " is almost complete but has been kept very quiet. It is rumored that there will be guest appearances on the C.D from D.J. Vlad the Butcher, Lil Troy, Big Mike from the Geto Boys, Spice 1,West Coast legend and former Death Row Recording artist R.B.X, Big Hump, PKT and Alegon, Psyco Sid and The late great Houston Rap Icon HAWK. One thing is for sure Da Goldenchild is the "real deal "and he will be keeping us all on edge until the day his next C.D. drops.
