What's wit it world! This ya boy TONEFirst of all I would like to thank you for stopping by my page to check out ya boys music, pics, comments and latest news! Awready! A mexican was put down in da game by an old homie of mine that I met threw my step dad at the time. Which is my nigga Daze a.k.a. Daze Cutta but back then he went by " Insane." We would kick it in my garage smokin weed all day and night till a nigga decided to chop up some game with me bout making music. At first I thought it was just one of those conversations that stoned muthafuckaz have when they blown. Talking bout doing this and doing that you know how that shit goes sometimeso I was likethis is an opportunity to get into somethin else thats legit. So we start hooking up and getting together to write some music and what not. We started off with instrumentals by Three Six Mafia, Notorious B.I.G., Master P, U.G.K. ect.Another one of my homies from da hood let us know he had a karoke machine at his crib, so we started making underground mixtapes for family and friends just for fun. Then one of my uncles passed one of our tapes to a concert promoter who was looking for artist to fill some spots on a show he was promoting localy. He then heard the music and liked it. He then passed the tape to a local record label that was looking for artist to sign. All it took was one session in the studio over an original beat and the rest was history! So thats when our first group was formed " Suthern Tip." We started hittin up shows like a muthafucka.but unfortunatly the deal with the label went sour due to wanting to change the direction of our music. Fuck that aint no muthafucka gonna tell me how to make my music! lol So we bounced and started up our own label.
361 RECORDS:: the first official project that came out was " TEXAS TITANS " which was hot! All original music and production. The cd was a group release by TONE & LETO. Leto is my brother in-law. You will be hearing alot of new material from the two of us, we like Snoop and Dre when it comes to this music. The album had various features also from the Corpus Christi area. Other projects in the making are TONE " FACT'S NOT FICTION " ------LETO " IN DA KITCHEN " ------SUTHERN TIP untitled------just to name a few.
