Coming up out of the streets of Oxnard,California where poverty, gangs, and drug dealing is a way of life, JayDee aka Da Bad Seed has found a way of turning all that into something positive. At the age of thirteen, Jaydee was a kid who was seen in most people's eyes as a kid who was on his way to an early death or life spent in prison. Spending most of his days on the streets selling dope, getting high, and causing trouble he was labeled as your cliche "hood kid" who was to do nothing in his life. At the age of fourteen, while out on the streets selling dope one night, Jaydee realized he had a gift. A beat by Slick Rick entitled "Childrens Story" came on the radio as a DJ was hosting a local radio show Jaydee began to combine lyrics pertaining to the life he knew and the struggles he endured. Immediately the fire had been sparked, over every beat he could get his hands on, Jaydee began battling other rappers in his area and rappers from every area the streets took him. Battling rappers in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, the Inland Empire, etc, Jaydee's style and skill immediately demanded and gained respect of everyone who witnessed it. Then in the fall of 2002, the biggest reason for Jaydee to take his skill to the next level arrived with the birth of his daughter. From that point on Jaydee decided it was time to take his street game to the industry and not take "No" as an answer. Clicking up with Big Prodeje of the pioneering west coast group "South Central Cartel" Jaydee began to see his dreams as a reality and something within reach. Crafting his skill in the studio, and linking himself with some of the games most prominent names on the west coast, Jaydee has become one of the most anticipated and feared rappers coming out of the West Coast. His delivery of rhyme, hunger and drive set him apart from most rappers in this industry, and are bound to make him a driving success in this hip hop game. His first project entitled "Death B4 Dishonor" hosted but the infamous DJ Ill Will, is one of its kind and guaranteed to go down as a piece of West Coast history. Jaydee has finally seen his dream come to light, and plans on continuing to bring this game what it has been missing, REAL MUSIC!
