Biography

Envied started rapping at the age of 14, he would write rhymes in a composition book and pass it around to fellow emcees to add theirs also. People started to notice his word play in this book so they asked him to rap on a High School radio station. He has always been a performer according to his mother, who ".would hear him rapping in his room at all hours of the night." But, it wasn't until a year later that he actually started recording his work with his all-family oriented group who called themselves "Dem Boyz" (Enufsed, Envied, Monstar)

A few months passed by and an old friend of Envied's (Distinkt) called him for a collaboration on a song, they dropped four songs together and soon he was added to the group. After the release of their first album "Betta Den You" Dem Boyz became popular with such hits as "Freaky Misses" a song describing two of the members' sexual preferences, "Get Ya Hands Up" a club knocker, "Make Yo Booty Drop" also a club banger, and a variety of other "head bouncers." With gaining popularity, and anxious fans, they dropped their sophmore album "Da Second Coming" which was without the appearances of the newly added member, due to relocation. The album did well, but because of lacking equipment, and money, production was limited. With the idea of a third album in mind Dem Boys coincidentally ran into a "replacement" fourth member (Flex 1), who some believe "took them to the next level."

With Boyz in tha Hood's release of "Dem Boyz" DB decided to change their name to dodge confusion. they became Da 805 Boyz. With a newly founded member, equipment and knowledge, they quickly began churning out hits such as "Mackin'", "Whackness", "Oh Snap" and there biggest hit "Bizness." They began to perform at party's they through and other parties alike gaining more exposure and fans. As time went by their cousin, and 5th member (J Yung) referred them to a club that he worked at, to perform in hip hop night battles.

Expanding their local celebrity gradually, they performed at High Schools and Night Clubs earning them the spot of opening acts for famous stars such as TWISTA, PITBULL, DAVID BANNER, and PAULA DEANDA. Envied and Flex 1 continue releasing hot buzzworthy tracks, and are in the process of completing their fourth album "Tha Hustle: Volume 1" and continue to perform in night clubs.
