Curtis

"CURTIS" is not only a man of character and charm but a man of endless possibilities. Orginally from New York, "CURTIS" moved to Georgia at the age of five and discovered the gift of song, he had a definate talent! Several years passed and more than ever the flame of passion for singing grew uncontrollably. Never having the financial support for lessons, or knowledge of vocal training, "CURTIS" used some of his favorite artists to vocal train himself, the goal was to perfect his singing ability. Some of the artist, to mention a few, were Brian McKnight, Eric Bennett, Luther VanDross, Ronald Isley, Usher, and Jessie Powell.



"CURTIS" started performing in shows at clubs such as "20 Grand" in Atlanta GA at the age of 15 and continued to broaden his horizons. He left home a few years later and moved in with his adoptive grandparents (Vicki and Bobby Byrd, the original singers of James Brown) and was trained to master writing and also challenge his limits of singing. After a couple of years, slowly but most surely "CURTIS" started to get closer to meeting his singing goals.



His vocal ability would start to increase to a point of comfort and the confidence in his lyrics and vocal was at it's best. Now going into the future with the "know how" and hope of becoming a recording artist, mastering all points of the industry. So here he stands "Curtis Jamel" awaiting the acceptance of the world. His dreams await"Curtis" will continue to strive.in his music.and it is"The Love of his Life"
