Brooke Trout

Brooke Trout is a singer/songwriter known for her polyphonic blend of punk, blues and ska. She is currently playing with The Red Herring. The band has been compared to Hole, The Pixies, The Gorillaz, and The Raveonettes. The Red Herring are Vincent Perea on drums and David Perea on harmonica and vocals. Brooke Trout's albums include the 2009 release Networth (Empire Recording Studio) featuring mixing engineer Chuck Wilson (Andre 3000, Dr. Dre) and mastering by Grammy Award winner Nancy Matter (The Who, Ray Charles) and her debut album, Bittersweet (SoftEgg Studios, 2007).
Brooke Trout was nominated for All Access Magazine's 2007 Music Award Show for best female guitarist in a rock, melodic blues category, best female guitarist in a pop, alternative category and best songwriter.
