Crystal Dove

Born in Miami and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, singer/songwriter Crystal Dove is no stranger to the big city or a big sound. Possessing strong acting, dance, commercial and classical voice foundations, she has celebrated her love of the arts from a very young age. Beginning her stage career as "Miss Z" in her kindergarten production of "The Alphabet" all the way up through principal roles in "Godspell", "Fame" and "Once On This Island" she has always enjoyed sharing her heart with any audience willing to listen. She describes her own musical sound as a blend of R&B, Pop and Soul with a drop of Country just to keep things fresh. Her musical influences include Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. Like any true musician she enjoys playing piano and guitar, as well as coming up with interesting vocal arrangements and harmonies.
Crystal majored in Vocal and minored in Drama at the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts. She is a graduate of Nashville, Tennessee's Belmont University, having majored in both Commercial Music Performance and Music Business. She studied under jazz singer Sandra Dudley and has performed with many local artists in the Nashville area including Melinda Doolittle, Janet Kenyon and Kelly Garner. She sang background vocals on Mötley Crüe's "Home Sweet Home" (Katrina Version), and can be seen singing in "Alan Jackson: Let It Be Christmas" on CMT.
In 2007 she released her debut single, "Until You Come Back To Me", which was Billboard Magazine's #1 R&B Single Sales Song for the entire year. Since then she has been focusing on writing, recording, teaching, and starting a family. Her next album will be released soon!
