Biography
Cronico was formed in 2004 when Daniel Koppen and Gabriel Eguiluz would get together to play and exchange musical ideas. Soon after that Manlio Martinez (Bass Guitar), Lizbeth Mendizabal (Vocals and Keyboards) and Alejandro Lopez (Drums) joined the band forming the first formal lineup.
In 2005 a promotional self-produced demo is recorded with 3 tracks.
In 2006 Cronico suffers it's first lineup change when Edgar George (Bass Guitar) joins the band.
In 2007 Cronico records it's first album titled "Delirium Room", a completely independent production. This debut album features 10 tracks and has been reviewed by magazines and specialized websites all over the world, including France, Japan, Chile, among many others, leaving good impressions and favorable praise.
After a hiatus in 2008 Cronico returns with a new lineup which consists of: Daniel G. Koppen (Keyboards and Guitar), Daniel Valdiosera (Drums) and Adair Flores (Bass Guitar).
On 2009 CRONICO records an EP which features 5 tracks, 3 of them from Delirium Room rearranged and rerecorded and 2 which will be included in the bands next album.
Cronico has played live in various stages around Mexico City such as El Zocalo and Hard Rock Live and have participated in many cultural activities such as art exhibits, borough competitions and private vents. Aside from this Cronico has also played live in Puebla, Hidalgo and Tabasco in which they were a part of the Ola TVT morning show.
Biografía
CRÓNICO tiene sus orígenes a finales del 2004 cuando Daniel G. Köppen (sintes y guitarra eléctrica) y Gabriel Eguiluz (guitarra electro-acústica)
ocasionalmente se reunian para tocar sin la mayor finalidad que el gusto de hacerlo.
Pronto se incorporan al grupo Manlio Martínez (bajo), Lizbeth Mendizábal (voz y sintes) y Alejandro López (batería), así queda finalizada la primera alineación formal.
En 2005 se graba un demo homónimo promocional con 3 canciones.
A principios de 2006 se genera el primer cambio e ingresa como bajista Edgar George.
En 2007, CRÓNICO graba su primer álbum de larga duración titulado Delirium Room, producción netamente independiente. Este primer álbum contiene 10 tracks y ha sido reseñado en revistas y paginas de Internet especializadas en el género en países como Francia, Japón, Chile ,entre otros, teniendo buena aceptación y comentarios muy favorables.
Después de un receso durante 2008 se gesta un nuevo movimiento y con esto una nueva alineación conformada por: Daniel G. Köppen en los teclados y guitarra eléctrica, Daniel Valdiosera en la batería y Adair Flores en el bajo
En 2009 graban un EP el cual contiene 5 canciones, 3 incluidas en el disco Delirium Room con nuevos arreglos y 1 que estará incluida en el próximo álbum.
CRÓNICO se ha presentado en diversos foros de la ciudad de México tales como el Zócalo en el 25 aniversario del Chopo, Hard Rock Live, El Tianguis Cultural del Chopo y han participado en diversas actividades culturales como exposiciones de arte, concursos delegacionales, además de eventos privados.
También han tenido presentaciones en Puebla, Hidalgo y Tabasco donde participaron en el programa televisivo matutino Ola TVT.
