Craig Hendry

Hi and welcome to my humble little site. For those needing a bit of a catch-up, I’m a singer/songwriter (which obviously isn’t exactly a unique claim.) from Brisbane, Australia, though I currently divide my time between Oz and the USA. I spent the last nine years of my life working with the internationally renowned vocal group, The Ten Tenors, beginning as the group’s keyboard player and sound designer/programmer and finished up at the end of 2008 as one of the vocalists and also the musical director. During my tenure, we performed in over 20 countries around the world in places such as the Royal Albert Hall in London, Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and the Sydney Opera House, had four major CD releases, two of which were certified Gold status in Australia and one certified Platinum and had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the world’s finest musicians, producers and composers. However after nearly nine years of service with the boys, I felt it was time for me to experience new musical challenges, and put myself out of my comfort zone again. Working with The Ten Tenors enabled me to hone my skills as a performer, songwriter, programmer and vocal and orchestral arranger and gave me a wealth of insight into the music industry and its intrinsically unique characteristics. I’m currently putting that experience into practice, working on various collaborations and projects, with a focus on my original material for a hopefully not-too-distant future release.
