Coyote Run is a high energy, New Celtic Alternative band that gets the audience up on their feet, clapping their hands, laughing out loud and dancing. These five musicians come together to create something old, something new, something utterly fantastic, and completely exciting. This dynamic lineup is the reason that Coyote Run is being hailed as one of the "most exciting Celtic acts touring today."



Drawing on the deep wellsprings of Celtic and Maritime traditions, Coyote Run bends those traditions, finding new and exciting veins within rock and alternative stylings. Their music is driving, powerful, and yet resonates and is layered with Celtic traditional music. Though their influences include: Wolfstone, Tanglefoot, Great Big Sea, and Steeleye Span, Coyote Run puts a distinctive twist on all of it and is a truly unique band. Coyote Run hails from Williamsburg, Virginia and tours extensively throughout the eastern half of the U.S. In 2003, they toured Ireland and in 2005, they took Scotland by storm playing their "new traditional" sounds across the Highlands. There they found that audiences absolutely refused to let them off the stage and demanded encore after encore.
