Apres avoir écoeuré les dancefloors du monde entier de la Bretagne a la Corse, Costa Branlos a échoué dans sa reconversion auprès d'un public à moustache (voir video ci-dessous).
Leurs adieux faits à la scène furent d'une larmoyante candeur, lors d'un show approximatif devant une douzaine de personnes à la paupière flageolante.

S'etant bati une solide reputation au fil des bals musettes, Costa Gravos affiche neanmoins et sans reserve son appartenance au milieu du metal. Le groupe jongle avec les genres autant qu'il recherche l'energie dans ses compositions. Aussi n'est-il pas rare d'entendre se cotoyer un death-metal hargneux et une bossa-nova lancinante, le tout saupoudre d'un humour caustique.
L'amour du jazz qu'ont en commun les musiciens de cette formation les amene inlassablement a fusionner les styles comme pourraient le faire les deux grandes influences du groupe, "Naked City" et "Mr Bungle". Salsa, musique bresilienne, trash, hard-bop, techno, jazz, drum'n'bass, ragga, reggae, grindcore, musette, disco, dub, valse ou neo-metal sont autant d'ingredients qui fournissent au groupe sa richesse ainsi que sa couleur mauve-caca.
