Corrupted Vision

Corrupted Vision is a Native American Metal/Punk/Hardcore band hailing from the land of Zuni, New Mexico. Having been in existence for a little over seven years, the concept of the band first came about when Jay (Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist) and Woody (Drums) got together in the summer of 1998 to "just freestyle and do some jamming." The two immediately clicked and the idea of putting a band together quickly began to take shape.

A couple of years and numerous tryouts later, the pair settled on bringing in their friend, Stoobs, to fill in on handling bass duties. The trio then continued on rehearsing and building up an arsenal of songs, both originals and cover songs, and playing shows (birthdays, graduations, and even a fucking wedding reception!) in and around the Zuni Reservation.

Then in September of 2002, things took a turn for the better when after constant nagging, Chris was finally allowed to join the fold as lead guitarist. Chris' ability and knowledge of the guitar was more than anyone could have hoped for and in turn was found to be the missing element the band had needed to move forward musically.

In October of 2006, due to a lack of dedication and commitment, bassist Stoobs was ousted from the band. New bassist, Moe, was brought into the fold at the end of November 2006. His experience on the guitar helped bring the band to a whole new level by giving a much tighter low end rumble.

Since then, the band has continued working on original material as well as playing shows on and off the reservation with other acts such as Left To Rot, Ashtaroth, Rot Eternally, Drazil, Misjudged, Sacred Blood, Emination 6, Signal 99, Echoes Of Fallen, Desolate Creation, Relentless, Seance, Acid Shit Syndrome, Nocrot, Fractured, Nuumak, Xiphoid, Sinking In Shit, Fear Red, Dead Desire, Malajustment, Ethnic Degeneration, Existence A.D., Nothing Remains, Collateral Hate, The Unemploid, Manias, Caustic Lye, Bloodline, Distorted Ritual, Ritual Homicide, Corpse Dismember, Tribus, Vengence Call, My Beautiful Misery, Forget Me Not, Mark The Hours, The Creeping Puppets, Undying Hate, Indwelling Divinity, Fatality, Heavy Metal Blood Drive, Child Left Behind, Bloodrush, Foreshadow, Hemlock, The Michale Graves Band and many others. The band has also managed, with limited resources, to record it's first self-financed demo.
