MUSIC THAT MOVES!

Thats the way to describe Copperhead. From the music to the high-energy show they bring to the table. If you like a party mixed with your dancing, then it looks like you have found your band. They know what makes a good show since they were all fans first. They deliver the fun every time.

Copperhead is a four-piece Texas band from Amarillo. Jeff Williams does the singing and rhythm playing. Gabe Dixon also sings a few and lights up the lead guitar. Aaron Balderas and Chris Hodges fill out the rhythm section at bass and drums. Copperhead bas been blessed with a group that brings top-notch talent to the venues and approximately 70 years of combined experience to the show. Thats not too bad for a band that the average age is 29 years old. Even though they act 18 sometimes.

In 2003, Copperhead started piling up the accomplishments. They hit 3 on the Progressive Country Chart and 10 on the Texas Music Chart with their single, When The Boys Hit Tow. The whole album reached 3 on the Progressive Album Chart as well. A story in the Amarillo Globe News featured the guys on May 16, 2003 and they were on the chart in the Best In Texas issue for the month of May. In 2003, they were named best country act and best overall band in Amarillo. Their next single was Boquillas and the guys were happy to watch it go to 22 on the Texas music Chart and 2 on the Progressive Chart. January of 2004 rolled around and the guys had a feature article in the San Angelo Standard Times and learned that When The Boys Hit Town hit 39 for all of 2003 on the Texas Music Chart and was also still at 18 on the XM Satellites Top 60 chart. In 2004, they were named best country act in Amarillo again. It is continuing as Copperhead had another feature article in the San Angelo Standard Times on November 11, 2005 claiming Copperhead On The Brink.

Copperhead has just recently released it's newest album titled Remedy. The CD has been in the works for a couple of years from Dallas to Amarillo to Nashville and the quality of the music reflects just that, as it is far beyond what When The Boys Hit Town could have ever hoped to have been. It has been at 23 on XM's X-Country chart and has been in the top 5 requests on Radio Free Texas for the last 4 months. Remedy has recieved great reviews in publications all over the country and is currently being played on radio stations from California to Maine.

Copperhead was excited to finally get to play the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels in April of '06. Later that month, they were invited to play the most important show of their career outside of Phoenix, Arizona in the Carefree Opera House with Shooter Jennings and his mother, Jessi Colter (Waylon Jenning's wife). They were recorded by the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Sirius Satellite Radio. It was an unforgettable night for everyone that was at that show.

Copperhead has come a long way from their first gig. It was supposed to be their one and only show for a bar-owner/friend but kept rolling until it snowballed into a Bud Light sponsorship and shows at some of the biggest clubs in Texas, including Graham Central Station and Midnight Rodeos. Theyve done shows and fairs with the biggest stars in the Texas and Nashville scenes. Including Pat Green, Billie Joe Shaver, Charlie Robison, Jack Ingram, Marty Stuart, Jessie Colter, Shoote Jennings, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cooder Graw, Kevin Fowler, Tracy Byrd, Chad Brock, Rascal Flatts, Great Divide, Cory Morrow, Johnny Bush, Jason Boland, and Mark Wills just to name a few. They get to travel all over entertaining and theres not a lot more a musician could ask for. These guys just simply put on a great show that makes people tell others. Its high-energy and its fun to be a part of. If you dont watch out, youll find yourself in the middle of a party.

That's what Texas Music is all about and that's who Copperhead is.
