Formed in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2003, Copesetic has an original sound that dares you not to get down. One listen and it is easy to hear their influences. The jazzy-blues/rock of the Allman Brothers Band. The soulfulness of the Radiators. The energy of Widespread Panic. But it's the band members' chemistry that keeps the music flowing. With six members personal tastes ranging from blues to funk and from bluegrass to the style of a classically trained pianist, a song idea can go in any direction.
Mike Huff hails from Georgia and embraces his roots by giving tribute to the Allman Brothers Band and Widespread Panic, whose influences are felt in many of his original pieces. This talented singer/songwriter is an unpretentious front man, who can entertain a crowd, even without a guitar in hand.
Sean Brinkman is known for his funky grooves. He began drumming at the age of 10 and has been inspired by the beats of artists such as Jimmy Chamberlin of the Smashing Pumpkins and Rodney Holmes of the Steve Kimock Band. With a little over 2 decades of drumming experience under his belt, Sean takes initiative to push the envelope, keeping in mind that a contrived and anticipated drum solo isn't necessary to drive home his obvious capabilities.
Greg Palmer may have the fastest hands this side of the Mississippi. His unique hand drumming style only adds to the intricate grooves of Copesetic. Greg envokes the style of Michael Travis of SCI and Andy Farag of Umphrey's McGee.
Anthony Ware, the newest member of Copesetic, has been playing music for the last 15 years. He is an accomplished bassist and knows the intricate details of being a sound engineer - which is his side project. This "lefty" is guaranteed to create a bass line that will shake your soul and keep your feet movin'!
Hunter Smith is an Arkansas native who began playing guitar 11 years ago. His style is deep rooted in blues, but he has played lead for bluegrass, funk, motown and even folk bands. It was made clear when he picked up the slide and lap steel, that he had found his groove. Hunter just has some "Good Musical Karma". Although he is a natural talent, he gathers inspiration from some of his favorite guitar heros such as Duane Allman, Eric Clapton and Derek Trucks, just to name a few.
Adam Robertson is a classically trained pianist and prodigy, starting piano at the age of 5. He discovered his passion for playing Rock n' Roll and has captivated audiences with his enthralling musical skills ever since. He attributes his talents to musical influences ranging from Traffic, The Band, and Little Feat to George Girshwin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
