Five musicians from the district of Darmstadt/Germany have come together to combine in years of gathered experience and musical affinity to become a self-reliant and ernergetic mixture of different styles in metal. The power of Pantera meets the mighty riffing of Crowbar. Straight forward double-bassing kind of Machine Head or older Sepultura merge to a Kataklysm-like guitar performance giving a rough overview about the musical alignment. Some of you might think "Well thats nothing new." should take a closer look. Its not about copying a certain pattern, its about to carry on the idea. Inspired by a lot of bands in this genre Contraption walk their own path. Where is it going? Nobody knows! But one thing is for sure: The voyage has begun! And for people who like deeply tuned guitars, machinegun-like drums in any direction of pace, hardcore and a good old touch of rock'n'roll will surely like this!
